Australian Centre for Research into Injury in Sport and its Prevention (ACRISP) Conclusions • The first study to have used these geospatial methods in sport/leisure injury in Australia • Considerable geographic variation with higher hospitalisation in Western-part of Victoria • By specific sports, high and low hospitalisation rates clustered in specific regions in Victoria • Geographic analysis of sport/leisure injuries is important to provide an evidence base for targeted injury prevention efforts
