What is Pima Connection? Pima Connection is a new advising tool that will revolutionize how Pima connects with our students. Pima Connection will be piloted in Fall 2017 and fully launched in Spring 2018. • Uses Hobson’s “Starfish” software • Will provide an easy way to raise concerns about students or to send kudos their way • Supports early intervention by advisors, counselors, faculty • Provides students with an easy way to reach out to their personal community of advisors and faculty • Supports a communication network so that various units in the College can be aware of and engaged in supporting students • Provides a simple way for students to make appointments with advisors or faculty during their office hours Slide 1
