  3.  WeldQ has two sides – Administration & Clients  Administration side is for creating and configuring programs, setting fee, allocating users to roles, management of applications, administering examinations, management of awards, etc  Clients side is for the community of welders and welding professionals to create accounts within WeldQ, apply for qualifications or certifications, manage their profile, access their certifications through mobile app WeldQ 3

  9.  There are 3 preconfigured workflows  Qualification – applicant goes through an examination process – awards do not expire  Certification – awards for a limited period, recertification is required  Welder Qualification – to a specific standard, requires prolongation and/or revalidation  Typical workflow diagrams are shown in the following screens WeldQ 9

Welder Qualification – Workflow Examiner Applicant PM/PC Program Assessor (Test Centre) Email communication Application Applicant selects a program from a list of available Preliminary Assessment programs and starts an application; Instructions Application received and checked by Program and requirements are shown to the applicant; Applicant selects the preferred Test Centre from a Coordinator; If anything is amiss, the PC contacts the list; Applicant confirms requirements are met, applicant through email, obtains the correct information, Workflow Step 3 records and updates the application. Application can be uploads files, then submits the application; Once edited by PC (Also by SU/AA/PM); PC selects Test Centre, submitted, application cannot be edited by then releases the application for testing; Application is applicant then locked from further edits Examiner conducts tests, completes the welder qualification details and Workflow Step 1 submits the certificate for Workflow Step 2 release Workflow Step 4 Payment Applicant pays the fees; Applicant s PDF profile generated; PC notified by email; Verification, Released? Renewal process approval and Workflow Step 5 release Welder Qualification status message will change to – Awarded; Confirmation Due dd-mmm-yyyy This message will appear from date of test + (interval -1 in months) and remain until either the confirmation is done or date of test + (interval in Prolongation months); If confirmation is not done within this period, display Awarded; On Hold , send email to Program Manager & Program Coordinator; Process, if PM/PC can either Cancel Award or Confirm; If confirmation process is successful, display Awarded; Confirmation Due dd-mmm-yyyy for the configured next confirmation date; This confirmation process repeats for (Number of Confirmations) times; If Revalidation/Prolongation Required is checked, then after date of test + ((Number of Confirmations + 1)*(interval in months)-1month), message shown - Awarded; Revalidation/Prolongation Due dd-mmm-yyyy. If revalidation/prolongation is not done within this period, message - Awarded; On Hold , email to Program Manager & Program Coordinator; PM/PC can either Cancel Award or Confirm; If Repeat? is checked, repeat the confirmation then revalidation process WeldQ 12
