Comptroller’s Office Billable Accounts  If you are receiving a grant from outside sources, you will receive a bill from our office on approximately the 15th day of each month for expenses incurred in the prior month  Payments may be sent through interoffice mail, left at Fuld Hall reception desk, or dropped off in the Comptroller’s Office Grant Payments  If you are receiving a grant, a health insurance subsidy, or a childcare subsidy from the Institute - please contact Tina Gaspari (gaspari@ias.edu or ext. 8209) prior to September 26 th for an appointment to complete the applicable documents for payroll processing  Please note that grant payments are disbursed on the last working day of each month 5

AMIAS Organization • Founded in the 1973 by then current and former IAS scholars is lead by a Board of Trustees − IAS scholars from all four Schools • Mission: encourage and support the scholarly work and related interests of the Institute for Advanced Study; to maintain and strengthen engagement between the Institute and its current and former Members; and to promote interaction between the Institute and the academic community at large. • Board meets twice per year and holds Trustee elections • AMIAS works to stay connected to scholars after they leave • UNC Chapel Hill Event • IAS Director Robbert Dijkgraaf to give a lecture at the invitation of 2016-17 School of Historical Studies Member • AMIAS reception, all former scholars in North Carolina invited • Lunch with university administrators 28
