  1. Welcome to Brookfield School New Reception Parent Meeting

  2. Staffing ⦿ In September we will have 2 parallel Reception classes, RS and RKS. ⦿ The class teachers will be Sus March and Kate Nightingale / Seren Quested. ⦿ We also have support staff working in Reception: ▶ Learning Support Assistants: Elisha & Charlie ▶ Apprentices: Kayleigh, Emily & Gaby

  3. Starting in September Children who currently attend Brookfield nursery will all start on the same day and stay for a full day. Children who are new to Brookfield will be gradually inducted, 2 each day in each class. You should have received a letter with a ▶ start date. On this day you will meet with Mark, the Head Teacher, and then bring your child to their classroom. Their first day will be a half day. And you will ▶ need to collect your child at 11.50

  4. We want your children to have a happy start to their time at school, and will work with you on an individual basis to help ensure they settle as quickly and confidently as possible.

  5. Arrival and Collection ⦿ Your child needs to arrive at school by 8:55. ⦿ Children should be taken to their classrooms by their parent/carer through the hall ⦿ For the first few weeks of Autumn term, we welcome you to stay in the classroom to read to your child (and others, probably!) We will ask that you leave by 9:10 am. ⦿ Children are collected at 3:30 from their classrooms; RS through the tunnel and RKS through the hall
