WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCES? • The workload can be greater/more challenging. • Grades towards GPA and post-high school plans start now. • Plan on at least 1.5 to 2 hours of homework/studying per night. • Students should be doing homework the night that it is assigned. • Don’t be afraid to ask for help. It is all manageable if you stay on top of it. There is always work to be done. • Minimum grade to pass a class is 65%. There is no promotion to the next course level without passing the current class for high school credit.

  19. COURSE SELECTION PROCESS • Meet with School Counselor Mrs. Paterson to complete the course selection form. • Teachers are making recommendations for next year classes. • After meeting with the school counselor, the student will bring home course selection form to be signed by a parent/guardian. • The signed course selection form needs to be returned to the school counseling office.
