What should I be doing in Year 11? • Start to find out what Colleges and Sixth Forms offer • Think about subjects you’re interested in and enjoy • Go to Open Events • Try the courses you're interested in on a Taster Day • Fill out an application form • Attend an advice and guidance interview • Study for your exams • Come to our New Student Days in July • Enrol at the end of August

How to Apply… • Option to apply online from 1 st October 2014 • Applicants will receive an instant email acknowledgement and a copy of their application form in PDF • Paper application forms available to download from our website or from the Infozone • Interviews will run approximately every two weeks from mid-December 2014 until end of June 2015 • If you have applied for more than one course, interviews will be set up one at a time in order of preference
On- line Applications … • No ‘save’ facility for online applications yet. You will need the following information to hand to complete: – Personal contact details – Emergency contact details – Estimated GCSE grades (if you have them) – Personal statement (telling us why you are interested in the course you are applying for and what you might do when you finish the course) – Referee contact details (inc. address and telephone) • The personal statement can be copied and pasted onto the online form from a word document
References • All applications must have the referee details completed • Applicants requested to bring latest school report to interview • If school report is not provided and/or interviewer requires further information, a reference will be requested (with specific details of what information we require) • All reference requests will come directly from the Admissions Team or Head of Studies
