A VOYAGER STUDENT (FULL VIRTUAL STUDENT) Students will have the opportunity to engage in a student centered, personalized and blended learning environment. The curriculum features courses in mathematics, science, language arts, world languages, social studies, and a variety electives to choose from. Students may benefit from • Collaborating with a group of other students • Student working quietly • Be engaged in blended learning experiences • Participate in online testing • Support at the virtual school
FULL VIRTUAL STUDENT Description : A student who completes all course work online in a remote location with face-to-face sessions only when requested by either the student or the teacher. Grade Level : 6 – 12 Eligibility : Students must be enrolled in Huntsville City Schools • Students must agree to the Student Technology Acceptable Use Agreement • Students must have an overall grade average of 75 for grades 6-8 and an overall • grade point average of 2.5 for grades 9-12 or receive superintendent recommendation Students must maintain a minimum of 60% mastery in all courses. • Students will provide their own transportation to the virtual school for requested • tutoring, mid-term and final exams. Grade Level : 11 and 12 Eligibility : Students must be enrolled in Huntsville City Schools • Students must accept the Student Technology Acceptable Use Agreement • Students must have an overall grade of 2.5 is required • Students must maintain a minimum of 60% mastery in all courses. • Principal/counselor approval • Flex Virtual Course Options: Health, Government, Economics, Earth Space Science, Environmental Science, English 11, English 12, US History 1877-Present, Psychology as well as additional approved electives

ACCOUNTABILITY Attendance – students must log onto the learning management system daily working towards course completion. Grades – students grades will be reported at the end of each semester/term. VS Calendar – The virtual school will follow the same calendar as Huntsville City Schools.
