Comprehensive Plan Guidance  Comprehensive Plan aims to grow areas around the Dunn Loring Metro Station and the Mosaic District into mixed-use, pedestrian friendly urban areas.  The nomination parcels are currently planned only for warehouse and light industrial uses, which is incompatible with the Plan’s area -wide vision.  Properties to the east, west, north, and south of the nomination parcels have an option in the Comprehensive Plan to redevelop as mixed use.  This includes three properties immediately to the north that are owned by Venture Associates.
