What we learned from EU Smart Initiatives
What we learned from EU Smart Initiatives • Low Energy Districts • Sustainable Urban Mobility • Integrated Infrastructures • developing networks • examining how we can leverage second-mover advantage for our own projects • and then to help those cities/communities who are further behind on the curve than us. The 3 key areas of GrowSmarter align strongly with the CCiC actions in our Climate Change Adaptation Strategy 2019-2024, the 26 actions from our Climate Charter, many of the 20 actions from our Government’s Climate Action Plan 2019, the entire ethos of the Covenant of Mayors/SECAP and from the future Climate Change Mitigation Strategy. An excellent headstart on developing our Climate Change Adaptation Strategy 2019- 2024 and will help in implementing our actions and making progress on Climate Action (adaptation and mitigation), Biodiversity, Circular Economy etc.
