2 year diploma programme of pre-university education
• Year 5/6: IB Language and Literature at Standard Level • 4 lessons per week • In year 6: this includes regular Dutchg school exams and final examination
• Language A: Language and Literature – Our students take ONE subject (Language and Literature) in Language A (native speaker level)
• Content: – Language, in context and mass communication (advertising, TV, political speeches) – Literature and context (Anglo-American literature as well as world literature)
• Examination: – Written Tasks (3 creative assignments + rationale) – Individual Oral Task (on literature) – Further Orals (2) – Paper 1 and Paper 2 in May of year 6 (May holiday!)
