6 Investigator-Initiated Research Project Grants Fall 2018 competition: • The Notices of Decision will be released on January 23, 2019 • Funding Start Date of the successful applications will be April 1, 2019. Spring 2019 competition launch: • Registrations will be accepted between January 16 and February 6, 2019. • Application will open as soon as registration has been submitted. Applications will be accepted until March 6, 2019. • The observer program for ECRs will launch on January 16.
7 Investigator-Initiated Research Foundation Grants 2018-2019 competition • Stage 1 results were released on December 18, 2018. • 178 applications invited to Stage 2. • Stage 2 application deadline is February 6, 2019. • Early Career Researcher (ECR) Foundation grantees now eligible to apply for Project Grants. • No decisions have been made regarding the continuation or design of the program.
