2020 Goals § Further development of resume capability based on Board guidance. Ø Identify corporations who are good matches for hiring individuals with Supply Corps related leadership and management skills. § Continue to refine the content for the NSCF website & the other Foundation media sites. § Strengthen the networks in high concentration areas (Norfolk, DC, San Diego, Atlanta, NYC, Florida, etc.) to better serve the needs of the transitioning officer. Ø Look into development of a Chapter based mentoring program § Continue the professional business card program for transitioning officers. Transition Committee
Updates/Challenges/Discussion Issues § Transition web site & Foundation social media : Ø Submitted a dozen articles that were included on Foundation Facebook and/or LinkedIn social media accounts Ø Submitted new content & updates to existing information on Transition website: Ø Published article for Spring Oakleaf on updates to the Transition Web page § Worked with the Foundation Chapters and Bridge my Return (BMR) in getting 8 volunteers to test out the BMR toolset. Ø Received positive feedback on the skills translator and resume development tools. Ø The big negative was on the lack on companies that have signed up to advertise jobs. Ø Advertised BMR services on the Foundation Facebook page § Developed draft mentoring process, based on the Seal Foundation process to assist transitioning veterans. Transition Committee
