Ou Our hi history • Samusocial Moskva is a Russian Non-Commercial Organization with French origins and methodology • Its name comes from the French acronym SAMU (Service d’Aide Medicale d’Urgence ) – which means “Emergency Medical Assistance Service” • Samusocial Paris was created in 1993 and Samusocial International was created in 1998 • Samusocial Moskva was created in 2003 by Dr. Xavier Emmanuelli and Dr. Leonid Rochal. Between 2005 and 2011, Samusocial Moskva focused its efforts on children and young adults in Moscow, and since 2012, has re-oriented its focus on adult persons 3
Ou Our work and and obj objectives • Our objectives are to - prov ovide de medi dical al care e and d mat ater erial al help (clothes, shoes, medicine etc.) to homeless people in Moscow - prov ovide de psycho hologi ogical al supp pport and d assi sistanc nce e to victims of social exclusion - shar are e our ex exper perien ence e and d know owledg dge e about fight against poverty and social exclusion via training sessions • We focus on socially excluded adults living in Moscow, including women and mothers with limited financial resources • In 2011, a cooperation agreement was signed between Samusocial Moskva and the Department of Social Welfare of the City of Moscow • Our teams work and operate both in the streets of Moscow and in the premises of the Center for Social Adaptation (CSA) Elizaveta Glinka 4
Ou Our te team • Our team is composed of 7 professionals including - 2 doctors - Boris Voynov and Maxim Novoselov - 2 psychologists - Maria Shabalkina and Irina Bludova - 1 coordinator - Maria Sedushkina - 1 administrator and accountant - Vera Malusha • Samusocial Moskva is led by Eva Bertrand since September 2017 • Our work is also supported by volunteers living in Moscow 5

Ou Our pla plan for or 20 2018 • In 2018, Samusocial Moskva will focus its activity on three priority areas - cont ntinu nuation n and d expan expansi sion of our care e progr gram ams: s: medical, social and psychological support and assistance - focus us on medi dical supp ppor ort for the most severely ill homeless persons (HIV/AIDS) - raisi sing ng of awar aren eness ess for the issue ue of homel eless essnes ness s in Moscow through various conferences, trainings and publications 8

Ho How can you ou sup support t our our ac acti tivit ity? • There are various ways to provide support for Samusocial Moskva – both in-kind and financial • In In-kind nd dona nation ons: adult clothes (coats, socks, gloves, hats etc.), first emergency medicine and medical products (bandages, plasters, disinfectants etc.), and hygiene products in particular for women. These are typically collected within firms, organizations from employees, or from private individuals. Our teams are ready to make a detailed presentation on this topic • Fina nanc ncial dona nation ons: we seek funding for our care programs (monthly costs indicated below) - medical consultations and emergency care (2 days per week, 1 doctor) – EUR 700 - psychological consultations (2 days per week, 2 doctors) – EUR 1,200 - medical consultations in the street (2 ½ days per week, 1 doctor) – EUR 400 - medicines, medical equipment for emergency care – EUR 125 - social worker (2 days per week) – EUR 300 10
