  6. Lydford Gorge On our way back from Dingles Fairground, we visit the beautiful Lydford Gorge; home of The White Lady, a spectacular 100ft waterfall.

  7. Farm Jobs Children and staff are given a variety of farm jobs to do throughout the week. These are often very enjoyable, but just sometimes… a bit messy!

  8. Barn Dance!

  9. Organisation of each week  The children will be asked to choose 5 people that they would like share their week with; we will guarantee 2 of these to be on the same week with them.  If your child has prior commitments on certain dates, we will need to know these well in advance as after their week has been decided, this will be non-negotiable due to the logistics involved.  Once their ‘week’ has been decided they will then choose 3 friends who they would like to share a room with. They will be guaranteed to be with at least one of these.  5 staff will attend each week.

  10. Your Children’s Safety  Members of teaching staff accompanying the children all hold Open Country Leadership Qualifications  The majority of staff will have been to Stone Farm before, or on a pre-visit  The coaches that transport the children have inertia seat belts and the same drivers accompany us all week  Hampshire’s public liability insurance covers every aspect of the trip  We will take excellent care of your children

  11. What is the Cost of the Trip? £250 maximum this includes:  Full board and lodging at Stone Farm  All travel costs during our stay  Admission to all venues throughout the week  All evening activities and marshmallows for the campfire!

  12. What Happens Now?  A letter will be coming home next week which needs to be returned with a £30 deposit if you wish your child to take part this year  Payments can be spread over the five months between January and May (five equal payments) a payment card will show the amounts still due  The TUCASI system currently the trip ‘live’ so you can begin payments  Staffing will be finalised to ensure we have a ratio of 1 adult to 9 children (HCC’s recommendation is 1 to 10)  A timetable and further details will be provided nearer the time in the summer term
