  3. Taltsy it's an open-air ethnographic museum 60 km from Irkutsk. It resembles a small Russian village located on the bank of Angara River. The impulse for the construction of this museum was the construction of Ust-Ilimskaya HPP when some villages were in the flood zone. To preserve the objects of wooden architecture, the most important were transported to the territory of the future museum. Taltsy is a popular tourist attraction. On the territory, besides historical huts and estates, there is a pottery workshop, a forge, a tavern, a studio for matryoshka painting and birch bark crafts.   4. Kamen Cherskogo is an observation deck on the territory of the Ski Complex Eastland. It is located in Listvyanka Village 68 km from Irkutsk.   8. There is the central manor and the visitor center of the Baikal Biosphere Reserve in the Tankhoy Village, two hundred kilometers from Irkutsk. The reserve covers almost the entire coast of Lake Baikal. Its main task is the protection of cedar forests, the area of which is comparable to the territory of Mauritius. Since 1996, the reserve has been included in the World Heritage List and is protected by UNESCO. At the reserve there is a museum of nature and ethnotown with a Buryat yurt and a Russian hut. On the first floor of the visitor center there is an interactive hall dedicated to Lake Baikal and its environmental protection. In a separate building there is an exposition telling about the history of the Circum-Baikal Railway, in the street there are restored railway carriages of tsarist times. Also, there is an enclosure with Baikal sable. There are more than a thousand species of plants in the reserve, many of them are listed in the Red Book and are found only here. Here you can meet wild boar, roe deer, elk, sable, black kite and brown bear. The director conducts a tour of the reserve. For an hour and a half, you will inspect the exhibition and feed the sable. After that, you will walk along the cedar alley, which was built by volunteers from around the world. The path is lined with a board and a part is neatly cut down in the soil. On the way, you will overcome several suspension bridges over a mountain river.

  10. Baikal Pearl Chalet is a secluded complex of six double chalets on the shore of Lake Baikal. It is located 100 km from Irkutsk. There are two banyas, a restaurant, a garden and a parking lot.   11. Today you have time to spend a free day at the foot of the ski resort. You can rent a ski or snowboard and ride from the slopes.   12. Gora Sobolinaya is a ski resort located 130 km from Irkutsk and 2 km from the shore of Lake Baikal. The first track was opened in 1969, when enthusiasts of extreme sport manually cut the first track. In 1991 the first lift was built and since 2003 the resort has twelve trails and eight lifts. C H A R A C T E R I S T I C S O F T H E R E S O R T  Twelve certified trails with a total length of 15 km.  One chair lift and four towing roads. There are three unsupported lifts.  The thickness of the natural snow cover is up to 2 m. There is artificial snow making.  The maximum elevation difference is 479 m.  The highest mark is 1,004 m.  Season from early November to early May.  The capacity is up to two thousand people a day. n the resort, there are hotels, hostels, cafes, restaurants, night club, souvenir shops.
