How does it work? • Main reflector is compacted during launch and orbit raising • After Main reflector is deployed, calibration is performed to achieve required performance • An onboard measurement system measures main reflector surface errors due to thermal variations and aging • The Flexosub shape is changed to compensate for any surface error • Flexosub is used in order to control the footprint 9 This presentation is NSLComm proprietary and is confidential
