+ Professional Learning-CRS By the end of the 2017-2018 school year, we will have had a total of 18 professional development days district-wide supplied by our consultant, Adam Fachler. Topics covered include: The creation of mentor units in mathematics at CRS; ■ Integration of Thinking Maps into Project Lead the Way units; ■ Creation of an articulated English as a New Language ■ curriculum; Integration of Thinking Maps into the Leveled Literacy ■ Intervention; TOT training. ■
+ Professional Learning-AMS/AHS Topics covered include: Using maps to read closely; ■ Moving students to use maps independently; ■ Integrating maps in new standards; ■ Using a full range of maps in instruction; ■ TOT training. ■
+ What does a Trainer of Trainers (TOT) do? ■ Supports colleagues; ■ Leads work on Thinking Maps building goals; ■ Liaises with our consultant, Adam Fachler; ■ Leads study groups.
