  3. Today’s moderator Andrew Bud – MEF Global Chair Andrew has been the Chairman of the Global Board of MEF since 2008 having helped found the organisation in 2001. From 2005-2008 he was a non-executive director of PhonePayPlus, the agency of UK regulator Ofcom responsible for premium-rate telecoms services. Andrew is the Founder and a Director of mBlox Inc, the world’s largest mobile engagement provider delivering enterprise SMS for companies worldwide. He is also Founder and CEO of iProov Limited, which provides next generation authentication services on mobile devices. He chairs Passiv Systems, a smart home energy management company, and is a Director of ETX Capital, a financial services provider. Andrew is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the IET, with a degree from the University of Cambridge. He delivered the 2009 Appleton Lecture for the IET on “New Approaches to Digital Distribution”, and in August 2009 was named by Telecoms.com as one of the top fifty mobile industry executives worldwide.
