The PIP Injection Port is a semi-reusable device that allows the consumer to inject flavoring directly into a Cryo-Vac or any vacuum packed meats without having the liquid escape. Traditionally, when trying to inject meats the consumer has to prep it and put it in a bag, or open pan, which the injection flavoring will eventually come out of. This is a huge waste of the flavoring and doesn’t give you the full flavor since it leaks out. The best option is the use a vacuum se aled bag, but if you puncture it then it’s no longer vacuum sealed and you have the same issue. That’s where the PIP Injection Port comes in. It’s super easy to use, semi- reusable, and allows you to keep your flavoring inside the meat while it’s still vacu um sealed. How does it work? Simple, it starts with a double sided tape ring where you stick it to the area you want to place the Port. Then you take the Snap Ring and apply it to the double sided tape. This creates a nice seal between the two parts but y ou won’t be able to remove it when you are finished, but that’s okay because you will have replacements. Then you place the malleable insert up inside the base ring so that creates a nice seal in there. After that, snap the base ring into the snap ring and you are pretty much good to go. Stick the needle through the malleable material and inject. It will reform when the needle is removed to keep a good seal, then screw the cap on when you are done to ensure it is covered and sealed. The malleable material c an be replaced or washed so it’s the perfect system for anyone who wants to saver every drop of their flavor! This product would be low cost on the retail shelf and could sell in any big box, and specialty, stores making it a high volume sales product. 1
The inventor, Steven Pippin, lives in Farmington Missouri and had an idea for a better way to inject meat without losing it. Steven contacted the Mars Rising Network and had a provisional and design patent application filed and had the invention designed properly so that he may see success with this great idea and turn it into a real product. He is actively seeking a company that would have an interest in licensing the product for a royalty. A provisional and design patent application has been filed as of December 2016. The Patent Search was performed by The Mars Rising Network and revealed nothing similar and that a granted patent could be obtained because of the unique design and functionality of the device as compared to other known devices. The Domestic Market is very large to say the least. This product would sell in approximately 150,000 retail stores in the USA and throughout the international market. The retail price would be from $4.99 to $19.99. The wholesale amount would be from $2.00 to $9.00 and the cost to manufacture would be from $1.00 to $4.00. The costs are an estimate of course ranging from USA or overseas manufacturing and distribution. 2
If you have an interest in more information regarding the PIP-Injector Port and are a serious company that would be interested in a licensing agreement or distribution please contact me directly. Sincerely; Steven Pippin / Inventor / Patent Holder 3
