Tennessee Presence RockTenn has invested in a statewide network of recycling facilities to service big cities § as well as surrounding counties including a state-of-the-art single stream sort line in Memphis in October 2011. § RockTenn employs over 75 people full-time as well as many more temporary sort line workers in its recycling facilities. § RockTenn also participates in Goodwill programs in which we market the recyclables generated by Goodwill as well as use Goodwill employees on our single stream sort lines as temp workers. § RockTenn has a consuming mill located in Chattanooga as well as Stevenson, AL where over 650,000 tons of recycled fiber are consumed annually. 7 7 Recycling

Opportunities within State All four recycling facilities located in Tennessee are not currently functioning at full capacity so there is § opportunity for additional materials to move through them. § Additional materials would provide an opportunity for revenue. § If more materials move through the plants, lines would run longer or create shifts which would add jobs within the state. 9 9 Recycling
