The main purpose of my visit at the University of Poitiers is to discover a European scientific laboratory, and to study the associated learning methodology. During my visit, I have discovered the XLIM-SIC (Signal - Image – Communications, Department of the XLIM institute, UMR 6172) Laboratory and its different research axes, as follows: Computer Graphics (IG); • COlor images, movement, rElief and Surfaces (ICONES); • Communication Systems (SYSCOM). • 11/3/2015 L'universite Poitiers 2

I have participated to the laboratory life, by following presentations, seminars • and HDR ( Habilitation à diriger des recherches , a French diploma following the PhD and allowing to become a University Professor) presentations. I’ve also assisted to Master and bachelor lectures, tutorials and lab works in • the following disciplines: Computers Graphics, Logic and Calculability, Data Base, Web Programming, Parallelism, etc . I have discovered the structure of the university of Poitiers (www.univ- • poitiers.fr); the learning programs in applied sciences of the structure and the material of the web site; the result of the scientific work of SIC Laboratory and the LIAS –Laboratory of Automatic Control and Computer Science for Systems, and finally the learning programs of Master and bachelor. 11/3/2015 L'universite Poitiers 6
At the end the of my scientific researches: We have discussed about the integration of the • activities of the projects done at the SIC laboratory and the results of the achieved activities. We have done a summary about the research • results of the laboratory. We have defined cooperative relations between • the university of Poitiers and the university of Telavi. We have discussed about the preparation of a • memorandum. We have discussed about the develop of a • computer laboratory in Georgia, and the methodology of its development. As a conclusion, due to collaboration with the French colleagues, I have received new knowledge and new experiences. 11/3/2015 L'universite Poitiers 7
2. Returning to my home country I . Returning to my university I have do a presentation of my research activities at the XLIM-SIC Laboratory of the University of Poitiers: I present the city and the university of Poitiers and the • learning program of the university. I present the structural model and the different research • directions of the XLIM-SIC laboratory. I present the results of my integration project to the XLIM-SIC • laboratory. 11/3/2015 L'universite Poitiers 8
II Development of a computer laboratory at the university of Telavi of some cooperation with the XLIM-SIC laboratory of the university of Poitiers The experience gained from the research of laboratory SIC assist me to develop a computer laboratory in my native university on the bases of collaboration with SIC laboratory: 11/3/2015 L'universite Poitiers 9
On the bases of collaboration with SIC laboratory We develop a new teaching curriculum for Master and Bachelors program in • Computer science (vocascienc.frent.univ-poitiers.fr). We create lecture courses, additional teaching textbooks on the bases of • collaboration with SIC laboratory (Lilian Aveneau; Eric Andres, Daniel Meneveaux …) in the following areas: Databases; Mathematics Virtual; Web Programming; E_Learning … New lectures we use by students in BA and MA • We try to implement the methodology in teaching and scientific research • process of the SIC laboratory at Telavi university (sic.sp2mi.univ-poitiers.fr) With the participation of professors and students, we present presentations, • seminars and conferences that will present our research results. These results will be exposed on the web site of Telavi State University –www. tesau.edu.ge. These researches help the • students in developing the research skills in virtual conditions and afterwards using them in practice. 11/3/2015 L'universite Poitiers 10
In addition, Preferably Encourage the teachers and researchers of the university Poitiers to • come to Telavi State University; Promote exchanges of students; • Create collaborations in teachings between Telavi and Poitiers; • Create collaborations in research between Telavi and Poitiers. • 11/3/2015 L'universite Poitiers 11
Some representatives of the SIC laboratory of University of Poitiers ( Lilian Aveneau, Eric Andres, Laurent Fuchs, Philippe Meseure…) will be consulted in the process of the develop of the Computer Laboratory at the university of Telavi.
