REGIONAL AUTHORITY Marshal Office of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship  an unit of public administration, which carries out statutory tasks in the area of health, culture, spatial planning environment protection, regional economy and transport on the territory of Mazovia.  is responsible for development and implementation of the regional development strategy . Regional transport plans are also managed by Mazovia Region to regulate service delivery and transport enhancements.  The Self-Government of the Mazovia developes and implempemnts innovations in the Mazovia and supports the development of space and satellite technologies applications.  The Self-Government of the Mazovia as a member of NEREUS is coordinating actions within NEREUS Network in the region 6

RESEARCH CENTRE Institute of Geodesy and Cartography (IGiK)  develops innovative solutions for the application of remote sensing, Earth observation, GPS systems and information technology (especially GIS) to different fields of science, economy, land survey and cartographic service, public life, administration and state security.  has an extensive experience in research and implementation of environmental solutions using satellite technologies and is engaged in developing the Polish space technologies sector . IGiK is a member of Mazovia Space Cluster within NEREUS .  IGiK has carried out an applied research on vehicle movements in Warsaw since 1964 using aerial photography. 7
