  7. Preparation • Find some sounds of daily activities ( snoring, wedding march, clapping etc.) • Convert these sounds into mp3 format • Give each of these sounds a letter • Find a related picture for each sound and put them into QR format ( qrcode-monkey.com ) Make these QR Codes blue • Write the sentences as text in QR Code format and make them red: * “ My grandmother is snoring! ” * “ I am getting married! ” * “ People are clapping the actors. ”

  8. Preparation • Print all these QR Codes in the A4 format • Stick them around the classroom • Make sure that Ss have QR Code reader on their phones ( i-nigma QR Code reader ) Evaluation can be fun, too! • Create an interactive quiz about the related tense using ‘ Kahoot ’

  9. Let ’ s get started! Warm-up: -Ss are divided into 2 groups (Group Blue and Group Red). -Ss come up with as many daily activities as possible in 1 minute • Ss listen to the sounds one by one. Sound A Sound B Sound C

  10. Let ’ s change the roles! • In the end, both groups will check the other party ’ s QR Codes whether the opposite group did it correctly.

  11. Focus on Meaning CCQs! • T replays each sound and writes CCQs to elicit the meaning of the related grammar. “ Is it about a past action? ” “ Is it about always? ” “ Is the action finished or happening now? ”

  12. Focus on form • T asks Ss to come to the board as in former groups • T asks all the Ss to use their QR Code readers for the red QR Codes • Ss go through each sentence and discover the subject and verb patterns. My grandmother is snoring! I am getting married! People are clapping the actors.
