Automation and control – Industrial I.T. - Industrial Engineering Programming and Automation Ltd. email: info@proconingenieros.com 1. Corporate Information. Programming and Automation Ltd. We are an industrial engineering company focusing on the development of automated control systems and software applications to improve both productivity and competitiveness. Our working areas include: Industrial Automation. • By working with the leading suppliers in the market, we are able to offer both automation solutions and industrial process control solutions. Costs and processes analysis. • We help to create tools that allow businesses and their clients to work together to look at their processes and identify any weak points they may have, and to look for opportunities to improve their existing systems. We develop and apply industrial maintenance plans, tailored to the individual needs of each company, based on optimising the efficiency of their equipment. Industrial I.T. • We develop software according to the needs of our clients, based on their requirements and also on observations of their existing processes. We also create and maintain networks in industrial environments.
Automation and control – Industrial I.T. - Industrial Engineering Programming and Automation Ltd. email: info@proconingenieros.com 2. Product Area. 1. Industrial automation. At the basis of our automated control systems are PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). Here is where all of the field signals (gathered from sensors or safety and security systems) come together. They activate a wide range of different commands which control the devices in the plant itself. The HMI interfaces allow users, using computers or touch screens, to operate on and visualise process values in real-time through a secure internet connection. Automation and control – Industrial I.T. - Industrial Engineering Programming and Automation Ltd. email: info@proconingenieros.com 3. Leading projects. 1. Automation. 3.1.1. Power control in a biomass plant based on calculations of the steam energy generated. The speed of the fuel supply feed screws is regulated according to the energy of the steam leaving the boiler room. The readings are sent to the SCADA, and this system calculates the power of the steam that has been generated, and automatically adjusts the speed of the fuel input. Sistema: Simatic S7-300 Software: Step7 V.5,4, Scada: Simatic WinCC. 3.1.2. Production tracking system in a biomass plant. Based on a simple hourly planner, up-to-date information on outgoing power levels and average versus actual production values is made available to the user, facilitating the completion of the operator’s planning and scheduling work. Sistema: Simatic S7-300 Software: Step7 V.5,4, Scada: Simatic WinCC.
Automation and control – Industrial I.T. - Industrial Engineering Programming and Automation Ltd. email: info@proconingenieros.com 3.1.3.SCADA Screens. Biomass plant steam lines. Main hydroelectric centre. Superheated water system. 3.1.4. Control of reactive power in gas turbines With the intention of eliminating levels of reactive power brought about by auxiliary installations in the line, the compensation values sent to the generator are automatically processed in order to obtain necessary the Cos Phi value which is required at the point of injection into the network. The system displays these process values every fifteen minutes. Sistema: Simatic S7-300 Software: Step7 V.5,4, Scada: Simatic WinCC.
Automation and control – Industrial I.T. - Industrial Engineering Programming and Automation Ltd. email: info@proconingenieros.com 3.1.5. Control of active power in steam turbines. With the objective of helping the Operations Department fulfil their electrical energy export objectives, Production Control Systems have been introduced into the PLC systems. Each hour, the system calculates the average power generated, and compares this with the production target at that specific time. 3.1.6. Control of active power in gas turbine. If a serious deviation has occurred, the time in which the error happened appears red in colour. This allows operators and supervisors stay up-to-date on the general running of the plant, simply by glancing at the PLC screen.
