This item would benefit from being alleviated from Small Business designation to 1005-01-522- Small biz designated procurement. Difficulties with Sole Source to FN. Drawings released to FN (OEM) on 19 April to allow them to 4817 M240H finding vendor that can meet requirements. Base w/ Option quote, however, it’s been challenging. Colt no longer makes M240 parts, so FN is Barrel Assy Solicitation conducted in late 2019, no quotes as of the only real option.
