Faculty Instructions Meet with each of the instructors that teach the courses. If there are 3 instructors of 125A for example you need to speak with the other 2 instructors. Each level must be assessed separately and all CLO in that course assessed. At this meeting you are to design an instrument to measure the outcome. You can design one tool that will measure all CLO if you want. If you are the only instructor for the course then you will be on your own, but remember I’m here to help. Pick a time to administer the assessment tool before end of April and design a rubric to determine what competency is for the outcome. Answer the questions below and turn into me by May 5. We will address the outcomes at our May 9 Outcomes meeting. Here are the questions: What is the course number and title? List instructors that worked with you on the assessment. What is the learning outcome to be assessed? What is the tool used to assess the outcome? What is the rubric that you used? How many sections of this course were assessed? How was the assessment delivered? What are the findings? On May 9 we will complete the assessment by determining if any actions are required and if new resources are needed.
