Establish a multi-year funding plan to meet the Community Building, Faith, Enhancements and Wellness needs 4. Work with Admin to incorporate the ideas generated in our parent feedback session

Increase Parent Engagement  SC booth/ marketing brochure at the opening BBQ and at parent teacher interviews  Hopes and Dreams exercise to engage parents and discuss their priorities for their children  Weekly Communications via Parent Messenger and monthly Newsletter  Social events including Shrove Tuesday breakfast, Christmas and Spring Dances  Parent draw for those attending SC meetings  Speaker events focused on mental wellness  Pub Night targeting JH parents to increase awareness of funding needs for JH activities

  7. 2015-2016 Fundraising Initiatives  First Fill your Freezer $5429  Art Cards $5591  Christmas Dance $1740  Second Fill your Freezer $3338  Pub Night $6000  Fun Food $8000 ( estimate)  Write on Stationary $2425 Total funds raised: $32,523

  8. Funds raised supported the 4 areas of need . Spending $0 , 0% $3,700 , 16% $7,700 , 34% $11,300 , 50% Wellness Enhancements Faith Community Building

  9. 4. 2015-2016 School Accomplishments  Grade Level wellness activities: In line skating, lacrosse, curling & skiing  Purchased Mathletics for Div. 2 and Razkids for Div 1  Drum Fit, Artist Residency, Dance Residency  Staff workshop to facilitate application writing for Open Minds Campus Calgary  Booking outdoor retreats for next year  Created a Gallery Wall to showcase student work  Booked social media speaker for Div 2 & 3 and parents for next year  Continued spirit days and pep rallies  Motivational speakers for this year and next year

  10. Looking Forward to 2016-2017  Continue to increase experiential learning through funding field trips, division wellness activities and in house creative learning  Continue working with the Fundraising Committee and the Cavalier’s Foundation to meet all areas of need  Continue to build community spirit  Continued parent communication enhancements, including Facebook
