Network Updates • Quilt • New CIS rates passed savings to SoX participants • Expect CenturyLink drop in price effective 7/1/15 $1.75/Mbps (reached next Quilt tier) • TSIC is Quilt CIS • SoX is participating in Quilt PerfSONAR mesh • Quilt is active in e-rate discussions (dark fiber) etc.

Commodity Internet TSIC • We have 4x 10G (2 in ATLA, 1 in MIA, 1 in DALL) • Bursting at same rate as commit • Only have to pay for what we use • Migrated all HE traffic to TSIC

SoX NOC • SoX has been using GT NOC • 10x5 support with best effort after hours • Negotiating deal with GRNOC at Indiana University • 24x7 tier 1 and tier 2 support • SoX will still remain involved with architecture, changes, and design • Transition period beginning 7/1/2015 • Hopefully better statistics moving forward
