Experience Intentional Mindfulness Interviewer, ask your partner this question: What are the most satisfying aspects of your work? • Listen to your partner with total presence/mindfulness. Try to keep your partner talking for 60 seconds. After time is called, switch roles and do this again.
Ideas for Spreading Mindfulness Begin meetings with: • Reflections • Quotes • 10 seconds of deep breathing Model single vs. multi-tasking Put your phone down during conversations Think about the positioning of computers when seeing patients Encourage people to find their “anchors” for focusing and being fully present
