  5. Power Access to resources and to decision -makin g in order to get w h at you w an t don e. Pow er can be visible, hidden, or invisible and show up as pow er over others, pow er w ith others, and/ or pow er w ithin. (empow erment)

  6. Oppression The use of power to marginalize, silence, or otherw ise subordin ate a social group, often in order to further privilege the dominant person/ group. Oppression describes the systemic and individual injustices experienced by margin alized groups

  7. Male White strait Privilege Privilege and oppression are two sides of the same coin , pow er. W h en pow er is used to cause h arm, oppression is h appen in g. W h en pow er is used to give someon e an advan tage, Racialized Queer privilege is h appen in g. Non- Male
