1. Medicine Cabinet The medicine cabinet will monitor usage and timing. Not only is the resident reminded of his medication in the right place and at the right time. The cabinet at self also checks whether the medicine cabinet is actually being used. Reminder ➔ At the right time and in the right place, the resident receives a message that it is time for medication. Usage ➔ When the medication is actually taken, no more reminders will be given. Family or Care Institution ➔ When no medicines are taken, the smart home will inform, for example, family or care institutions.

2. Toilet Usage The toilet detects long toilet usage. When a resident stays on the toilet for too long, the resident is asked if everything is ok. When there is no response the care institution or family can be alerted. Everything Fine? ➔ First, the resident is asked if everything is fine by means of a smartphone or wearable button. No Response ➔ When there is no reaction from the resident, the smart home can signal for help. Neighbours of Family ➔ The resident is on the toilet for too long, something might be wrong. First the neighbour and then family is asked by the smart home to come over and have a look.

3. Kitchen Sensor The kitchen is aware of its own environment. Temperature, humidity and air-quality are monitored. When normal cooking parameters are exceeded, the resident is reminded to return to the kitchen. Neighbours or Care Institution ➔ When the safety limits are exceeded, an alert will also go to the neighbors, family or care institution. 4. Third Party Products The ProActivated open platform. The ProActivated platform can be open up to third party suppliers. Existing products can be utilized and used within the smart homes. This will allow for better monitoring of the residents. Electric Toothbrush ➔ Many high-end electric toothbrushes have smartphone connectivity. These devices can become part of the smart home. Shaving Device ➔ The same holds true for electric shavers as well. When Bluetooth is available it can be utilized by ProActivated. All Bluetooth Enabled Devices ➔ In fact, all connected devices can be part of the ProActivated smart homes.
5. Additional Modules ProActivated will offer a growing number of modules. New modules will be added every couple of months. The smart home can be adapted to every need. Addition modules will be: Movement Sensors ➔ When out of the ordinary activity is monitored there might be something wrong. Bed Sensors ➔ Sleeping patterns and weight changes may indicate that additional care is needed. Bath Sensors ➔ Be warned of bathwater that is to hot or abnormally long bathroom usage.
