Desired results: 2. Works for enhancing functionality of Hydro- technical Complex Stanca-Costesti and Stanca Costesti Dam and Reservoir Project funded by the European Union
Desired results: 3. The modernization of the information and hydrological forecast system Project funded by the European Union
Desired results: 4. Training courses in processing and communication of primary data, in designed dispatch and cartographical applications Designing application for data collection and dissemination for the Dispatch Centres; Designing cartographical and Graphical User Interface application for flood risk management application in the Dispatch Centres and for the services responsible with flood protection in the water directorate; Integration of Dispatch and Cartographical applications with other existing projects in Romania as DESWAT, Danube Floodrisk and WIMS – by geodatabase; Training for GIS processing, with application to water and flood management activities; Training for use and configuration of the of Dispatch and Cartographical applications. All partners will participate for designing different applications and will take part in the training program, for strengthening the professional capacity. Project funded by the European Union

Collaboration for improving the framework of the bilateral Agreements in case of floods o Romania have bilateral Agreements with Ukraine and Republic of Moldavia for water management domain. o During EAST AVERT implementation, bi-lateral meetings will be prepared for discussing the hydrological informational system (data communication, data processing, information and warnings exchange) for Ukraine-Romania and Republic of Moldavia- Romania. o The results of the project could be the base for changes in the Hydrometeorology and Flood Defence bilateral Regulations Project funded by the European Union
