WHO ARE THE TAPA STANDARDS AIMED AT? Manufacturers or providers of transport and logistics services for high value products TAPA statistics prove that its members are measurably reducing cargo crime compared to the rest of the industry. HVTT (high value theft targeted) asset theft TAPA’s 600+ member companies include many of the world’s leading consumer product brands as well as their logistics and transport providers with combined annual sales of over US$900 billion, law enforcement agencies (LEA), insurers and other trade associations. 6

WHAT IS FSR? TAPA Security Standards (FSR) was established to ensure the safe and secure transit storage and warehousing of any TAPA members’ assets throughout the world. Minimum acceptable security standard and the methods to be used in maintaining those standards. FSR has 3 levels of security that can be achieved during certification: - A, B or C (A being the highest level of security) The level of certification selected depends on the needs of your clients and business 9

WHAT IS TSR AND WHAT LEVEL DO I NEED TO ACHIEVE? The Trucking Security Requirements (TSR) represents minimum standards, specifically for transporting products via road within a supply chain. TSR Certification divided into two sections which can be described as policy/procedure and practice. Model #1: TRUCKING COMPANIES Model #2: LOGISTICS SERVICE PROVIDERS Minimum of ten trucks are included and maintained in their TSR scheme to be eligible for TSR Certification or TAPA TSR Service Partner status. 11
TSR CATEGORIES I. Small = Carriers with ten (10) trucks or more but less than thirty (30) trucks, four (4) trucks would be inspected by SGS II. Medium = Carriers with thirty-one (31) to one hundred (100) trucks, six (6) would be inspected by an SGS III. Large = Carriers with more than one hundred (100) trucks, 7% of all trucks must be inspected an IAB 12

TACSS TACSS consolidates security solutions for air cargo, including best known methods from industry and government compliance programs. The TACSS process comprehends threats to cargo that include theft and use of cargo for terrorist purposes. The TACSS security level 1 or 2 is calculated by completing the risk-assessment tool. 14
