Building a Strong Foundation Staff must reflect on their individual views in regards to the topic of race/racism. ● Meaningful staff trainings: Jillian Best Adler (focus on self-reflection) and Ruby Martin, (train ● the trainer) Subsequently, in-service and staff meetings were devoted to the topic and a diversity ● committee was created.

PQAS Trainings Love the Skin You’re In! ● The Teacher, The Race Relations Mediator ● Love Thyself, Child ● *Common theme throughout all the meetings and trainings, there are different levels of comfortability in discussing the topic with students, thus it’s been imperative to provide resources and staff members to talk to for support.
