What is ... SEPAC is a public body which serves as an adviser to the School Committee on matters that pertain to the education and safety of students with disabilities. In addition, the SEPAC has a duty to meet regularly with SEPAC ? school officials to participate in the planning, development and evaluation of the district’s special education programs. SEPAC is a self-governing body (creates its own by-laws and operational procedures) and is open to all parents of children with disabilities and other interested parties. SEPAC is different from a PTA, PTO or School Council – it does not represent families from one school, but serves all families of children with special needs from From: The Federation the entire school district. for Children with Special Needs

Partnership with T.H.R.I.V.E for movie night on October 16, 2019, 7-8:30 PM, MHS Auditorium Screenagers: The Next Chapter is a 60 minute film about helping young people thrive in our screen and stress-filled world. The screening of the film will be followed by a panel discussion with experts in the areas of screen time and mental health. parents/guardians and children age 10 and up are invited to attend together.
Partnership with MILLIS SEPAC, which includes basic rights workshop in October and a 504 plan workshop in February
The main goal for our Board is to increase family involvement by having more events for example: ● Sensory friendly movie night for the younger age group ● Middle and High School group Ice cream social and other events
