Scholar Time Intervention and Enrichment Block
What is Scholar Time? During Scholar Time, students are working directly with a teacher on a specific skill that they need support in. These groups are reevaluated every 4-6 weeks, and students are moved according to the skills that are needed.

How does Scholar Time Work? Goal: Each grade level K-3 have 1 hour of intervention or scholar time. (Remediation / Enrichment) All staff EC, ESL, and Teacher Assistants will push into one grade level at one ● time. ● Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday is for Reading and Thursday and Friday are for Math. Challenges ● ○ Average of 10 classes per grade level ○ After Scholar Time, Specials, Lunch and Recess only 4 hours of instructional day left. Teacher assistant schedules: in all Scholar times as well as small group ○ reading with a teacher at each grade level. ○ PLC’s during the day and creating half day Data sessions.
