Other Recommendations in Process, or Completed ■ Recess cess Monit itor or Trainin ning g – Completed September 3, 2019 – Will repeat for those who were not in attendance – Additional training being planned – Elementary Principals created “zones” to deploy monitors in all areas of the playground ■ Lock Down Drills, “Prepare, not Scare” Strategies Presentation – Presented to all District Staff by Chief Snyder on September 3, 2019 – Four mandatory drills to be implemented at different times of the day – Discussion and possible recommendation regarding decentralizing Lock Down Drills (Essential Question: Who will have the ability to initiate a lock down?)

SAFETY SUB-COMMITTEE CONSISTS OF PARENTS, STAFF, COMMUNITY SAFETY PERSONNEL Other than the standing members, members of the Health Advisory Committee (HAC) self-select to be a Safety Sub-Committee member. There are presently HAC openings for Community, Parent, and Teacher members.
