| TRAINING PROJECTS REGARDİNG MATERNAL AND CHİLD CARE Advanced Pediatric Life Suport(APLS) Trainings- Azerbaijan APLS is a systematic, hands-on course program developed for critical patient classification in life- threatening emergency and trauma cases, basic and advanced life support, and other emergency treatment approaches. 224 Beneficiaries(Health Professionals) has been trained. Newborn Hearing Screening Trainings – Tanzania/Zanzibar As a result of the trainings carried out by our volunteers, applied trainings of the local crew formed by 19 nurses and 3 audiologists were completed in January and June 2015, in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
| NUTRITION HEALTH PROJECTS Yeryüzü Doktorları opens and supports nutritional health centers for pregnants, mothers and their children in the areas where hunger problems are experienced. 1. Yemen Nutrition Health Centers According to 2016 UNICEF report , pediatric health problems stem from lack of nutrition as %60. Yeryüzü Doktorları supports 4 Nutrition Centers in Al- Mimdara, Al-Bassten, Al-Mualla, Al-Shab in Yemen. Therapeutic foods are provided for children who are under 5, mothers and pregnants. Within this year, 14.451 treatments and 1.447 nutrition therapies were provided. 2. Chad Nutrition Health Center Malnutrition in Chad is a serious concern, as 43 % of children under the age of 5 are stunted. In 2018 Yeryüzü Doktorları launched a nutrition center which provides training for mothers and pregnants, therapeutic foods and subcompliments meals for children under 5 years, accordingly with UNICEF nutrition standarts. YYD, Yemen 2019 During the ongoing year 4.770 child has received free examinations and 1.763 child are registerd in the YYD Severe Acute malnutrition program (SAM). As starting last two months 111 child are registered in the YYD Moderate Acute Malnutrition program (MAM)
