RUSSELL RAIL OVERVIEW • The Russell Group have been pioneering the use of rail freight as a sustainable transport method since the 1970s. • Currently operating multiple rail linked sites, the Russell Group has a wealth of experience in both rail and multimodal logistic solutions • Many manufacturers and retailers have started developing their use of rail freight throughout the UK due to the numerous environmental benefits and HGV driver shortage issues. • Russell promotes and encourages, where viable and sustainable, the transfer of freight from road to rail and is committed to supporting the use of rail in the future.

DAVENTRY RAIL FREIGHT TERMINAL Our Daventry rail terminal operation has three daily services to Glasgow, providing new and existing customers with the flexibility to meet increasing market demands. Travel by rail same day from Daventry to Glasgow • Distribution throughout Scotland by the Russell Fleet • Movement of ambient, chilled and frozen products • Additional peak volume and new flows into/out of Scotland • Choice of three rail services to meet customer requirements • Significant savings on CO2 emissions by moving from road to rail •
