  11. TRUTHS TO KNOW ABOUT GOD 1. God loves you

  12. Mark 4:37-38 37 A fierce windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking over the boat, so that the boat was already being swamped. 38 But He was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion. So they woke Him up and said to Him, “ Teacher! Don ’ t You care that we ’ re going to die? ”

  13. Romans 8:31-39 31 What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He did not even spare His own Son but offered Him up for us all; how will He not also with Him grant us everything? 33 Who can bring an accusation against God ’ s elect? God is the One who justifies. 34 Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is the One who died,

  14. Romans 8:31-39 but even more, has been raised; He also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us. 35 Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or anguish or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: Because of You we are being put to death all day long; we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered.

  15. Romans 8:31-39 37 No, in all these things we are more than victorious through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers, 39 height or depth, or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!

  16. Ephesians 3:16-19 16 I pray that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power in the inner man through His Spirit, 17 and that the Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width,

  17. Ephesians 3:16-19 height and depth of God ’ s love, 19 and to know the Messiah ’ s love that surpasses knowledge, so you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

  18. TRUTHS TO KNOW ABOUT GOD 1. God loves you 2. God has authority and power over all things. He is in control.

  19. Mark 4:39-40 39 He got up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “ Silence! Be still! ” The wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40 Then He said to them, “ Why are you fearful? Do you still have no faith? ”

  20. Mark 4:41 And they were terrified and asked one another, “ Who then is this? Even the wind and the sea obey Him! ”

  21. Psalm 89:8-9 8 Lord God of Hosts, who is strong like You, Lord? Your faithfulness surrounds You. 9 You rule the raging sea; when its waves surge, You still them.

  22. Psalm 46:10 “ Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! ”

  23. TRUTHS TO KNOW ABOUT GOD 1. God loves you 2. God has authority and power over all things. He is in control 3. God is near to you

  27. 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 3 Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. 4 He comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so through Christ our comfort also overflows.

  28. Psalm 23:1-4 1 The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack. 2 He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. 3 He renews my life; He leads me along the right paths for His name ’ s sake. 4 Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for You are with me;
