Overview of the Rural Ontario Residential Broadband Program from CENGN • CENGN is a not-for-profit company out of Ottawa, Ontario. • CENGN is funded by the Ontario Government to drive innovative technology solutions and help fund projects that bring high-speed internet to underserved small Rural and Northern Ontario communities. • CENGN is paying 50% of the costs of the radio and optical equipment required for a local ISP to offer new commercial internet access services to your area. • There is no cost contribution required from the Township Council for this project. • Project is committed to a long-term commercial internet access service offering for the Township of Dawn-Euphemia.

Broadband Project Overview New Fibre-Optic Internet Connectivity Throughout the Village of Florence § High-speed Fibre-To-The Home (FTTH) will be available to all homes and businesses in the village New Fibre-Speed Fixed Wireless Internet Connectivity in the Hamlet of Shetland § High-speed internet access services will be available to all homes and businesses in the hamlet New High Speed Fixed Wireless Services for a Wide Area of the Township § Mix of wireless technologies, and FTTH where it makes sense New High Speed Fixed Wireless Internet Connectivity for those with Dense Tree Cover § Will reduce the need for some residents who currently would require a tower on their property to receive service New Wide Selection of Different Internet Access Plans with NO DATA CAP § Can select from selection of lower cost options § Can select from selection of throughput options
