❖ Winter Reading — Curl Up and Read ❖ January-February ❖ SLP — theme varies each summer ❖ June 1-August 15
❖ Grand prizes have included: Kindle Fires and Chamber Bucks. ❖ Other prizes: lap desks, book lights, free books, and donations from local businesses. ❖ Each year the slip has changed (snowflake, mitten, snowman, bunny slipper). They are then cut out and displayed around the desk. ❖ Reviews used for book displays.
❖ Last year there were four ways to win: a prize when you turned in a reading slip, a weekly prize drawing, the grand prize drawings at the end of the program, and a bonus game of 20 Questions. ❖ We had 274 people register for the program.
❖ Most of the above prizes were donated by Eau Claire businesses. Those not donated were purchased using funds provided by the Friends of the Library
