  2. ▪ The 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production (10YFP) was adopted at the 2012 World Summit on Sustainable Development. ▪ It is a global commitment to accelerate the global shift towards sustainable consumption and production. One Planet ▪ SCP is a stand-alone goal (SDG12) of the 2030 Sustainable Development agenda, and Target 12.7 calls for the Network implementation of the Sustainable Procurement. 2

Sustainable Public Procurement overview A global umbrella multi-stakeholder programme of organisations that meet, share and work together to implement sustainable public procurement (SPP) The SPP programme is co-led by: Environmental Development Center/ CEC of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China Goal Accelerate the uptake and implementation of SPP at 139 Partner Organizations and individual Experts local, national, regional and global level and worldwide in more than 40 countries around the globe level to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns and assist in the delivery of SDG12. 3

SAICM-PROJECT GLOBAL BEST PRACTICES ON EMERGING CHEMICAL POLICY ISSUES OF CONCERN UNDER THE STRATEGIC APPROACH TO INTERNATIONAL CHEMICALS MANAGEMENT UN environment, ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability and Sustainable Global Resources are working jointly to help governments and value chain actors in the electronics sector track and manage chemicals of concern (CoC) in their products. By developing global sustainable public procurement guidance enabling purchasers to ultimately • reduce the use of chemicals of concern (CoC) in the electronics sector supporting the training for adaptation of global tools and guidance to the local context of public • purchasers in Colombia. 13
