Mass media and library and information Mass media and library and information science science Study mode: intramural (3 years), extramural (4 years) Tuition fee: 335 270 RUB per year (VAT excluded) Field of study: International Journalism Special aspects: the above program is aimed at training of highly qualified specialists in the sphere of journalism, who are able to consider academic experience and to apply knowledge and know-how in their future professional activity. Types of professional activities for the graduates who have completed their postgraduate studies: • Scientific research in the sphere of journalism, • Teaching according to high education academic programs, • Professional employment in book publishing, mass-media and communication sphere. 2
Mass media and library and Mass media and library and information science information science Admission terms: The admission is for a full-time course (state-funded and fee-paying) based on the results of entrance exams. The exam “Journalism” has to be passed in order to be admitted. The following documents should be ready for the admission: • Original (for presentation) and copy of identification card; • Original or copies of specialist or master’s degree diploma; • List of published academic studies, inventions and research reports. Those who do not have published academic studies and inventions should present a report on the field of study chosen; • Documents which confirm individual achievements of the candidate, the results of which are taken into account during the admission; • Two photos (3х4). 3
