We are all volunteers. o The JES PTA is operated entirely by volunteers. THOUSANDS of valuable hours are donated by generous people every year to further the mission and purpose of our PTA. o To volunteer with us, please contact PTA Volunteers Coordinator, Susan Scott, Volunteers@JeffersonPanthersPTA.org; check out volunteer opportunities on our PTA's website, www.JeffersonPanthersPTA.org; and/or reach out to the PTA Committee Chair or Officer responsible for the PTA project that fits your talents and interests.
We are independent. o The JES PTA is an independent 501(c)(3) organization. o We work closely with JES personnel to carry out our mission and purpose and believe that our interests as separate organizations align, but we are not supervised by or employed by the school. o We serve JES children and their interests.
We are advocates. PTAs do more than just raise funds, recruit o volunteers, and plan events. We do all those things, and more, but all of our actions are directed toward raising awareness and raising voices as strong advocates for children. We create and support powerful partnerships to support student success. Learn more on our PTA website, o www.JeffersonPanthersPTA.org (Advocacy Tab)
