starting Friday, September 4 th ! Students should arrive via the carline loop, bus loop, golf cart loop, biker/walker gate or, if applicable, morning extended day. Parents/Guardians will not be allowed to park. No matter how your student arrives on campus, they will be gathered in groups with adults and escorted to our classroom. We will have a lot of staff helpers the first week of school so that our youngest students are not walking alone to class. Carline will begin at 7:55 a.m. and our classroom doors will open at 8:05 a.m. The school day begins, promptly, at 8:25 a.m. If you need to make a dismissal change for your child, please submit a transportation change in writing to your child’s teacher. Forms are available on the PVA website and are linked below. https://www-pva.stjohns.k12.fl.us/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/PVA-Transportation-Change-Form.pdf

Your child will attend school one of our four staggered start days. On your selected staggered start day, we have arranged an opportunity for Kindergarten families to park and meet their teacher outside of school. We are asking our Kindergarten families to delay your arrival until 8:45 am. To properly social distance, we will have teacher stations set up at both the car loop and bus loop. Families will be able to take first day photographs, props included, and meet their child’s teacher. Students who are in morning extended day or riding the bus will be collected by their teacher. All Kindergarten students will be met, by their teacher, during their staggered start day, and will be escorted to their classroom. The first day where all Kindergarten students will attend together is Friday, September 4 th !
