2020 Boosters Board Angie Schmidt – President Laurie Oliver – Vice President Jason Schwertfager – Treasurer Jennifer McElroy – Secretary Chery Bucci – OAB Representative

Booster Goals – What We Do 1) Support the players and coaching staff to allow them to focus on the soccer field 2) Build excitement and positive community spirit around the Braves Women’s Soccer Team

How We Do It 1) Help communicate important dates, times and events 2) Raise funds to support uniforms, equipment and other program needs Hold open Booster meetings (2 nd Wednesday of 3) every month) 4) Provide opportunities for parent involvement and community

Uniforms • Uniform provided to all players at beginning of season and returned at season end • Provided to all new players to keep: • Two Pairs of Socks • Soccer Backpack • Boat Jacket

2020 Player Fees • Annual Pay-to-Play Fee: $80 (Approx. fee based on 2018) • Kent Summer Tournament: $80 (Two days of games, overnight hotel, meals, two T-shirts) Optional, but • Summer Training: $150 encouraged (Ten 90-min training sessions = $15 per session) • Summer Team Camp: $60 (Four 2-hour training sessions = $15 per session) Estimated 2020 Expenses: $370

Benefits of Fundraising • New team equipment (balls, goals, etc.) • Nike uniform kit -- game socks, backpack, jacket • Team bonding events and Alumni Game • Training T-shirts and player SWAG • Kent State Summer Tournament (shared cost) • Shuttle to Sylvania Northview • Senior Night • End of Season Banquet (shared cost) • Uniform “Savings Account” for future

Fundraiser: Raffle • Raffle to win “family fun” tickets: • Main fundraiser for the year (raised over $17K net for OWS soccer in 2019) • $20 per ticket – starts day after tryouts (Aug. 2 nd ): - Request each player to sell minimum of 10 tickets - Top 3 sellers receive gift cards

Fundraiser: Kids Camp • 4 day camp staffed by OHS players (June 8-11) • For youth players 1 st – 8 th grades • Returning players to volunteer • Need parent volunteers for planning committee
