Pinal Creek Trail Project Timeline 1992 - Pinal Creek Linear Park Concept Report – University of Arizona College of Architecture. 2012 - Pinal Creek Trail Conceptual Plan - City of Globe/Gila County. 2015 - Pinal Creek Trail Health Impact Assessment (HIA) - Gila County Public Health Department. 2015 - Pinal Creek Trail Committee is created. 2018 - Recharge our Economy Workshops (RCAC) – PCT adopted as Recreation Group Project. 2019 - University of Arizona College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture Capstone Projects. 2019 – Permission from land owner BHP to build a demonstration site.

Next Steps � Pinal Creek Trail Committee (PCTC) will need to be a formalized group to enter into agreement with BHP to create Demonstration Site. � PCTC is exploring the possibility of becoming a Regional Trails Group with 501(c)3 status, to be able to receive funding for the Pinal Creek Trail Project and other area trails projects. � PCTC is also taking inventory of nonprofits with similar aims, to potentially combine forces with. � Once the PCTC is a formalized group, an agreement can be signed with BHP and surveying and construction planning may begin. � PCTC will be seeking funding opportunities to fund construction of the Pinal Creek Trail Demonstration Site. � Construct Pinal Creek Trail Demonstration Site.
