Two programs, One goal • Otterbein University First Year Experience – FYE Goals and Outcomes Otterbein FYE – First Year Seminar Courses Otterbein FYS – INST, ePortfolio, 5 Cardinal Experiences • Westerville City Schools Transition Program – 18-22 year olds, Socially graduated High school – Individualized Education Plan (IEP), Cognitively Impaired – Peer Inclusive Environment – Job and Independent Living Skills
FYS course: “ Discovering and Developing Your Strengths” • Semester long course • Focus on developing Top 5 Strengths Themes (Gallup StrengthsQuest) and Wellness Strengths • Students are part of the Leadership LLC (two other FYS courses) • Community Engagement project
